Crunchyroll reveló este viernes la lista completa de nominados a los Anime Awards 2021, ceremonia organizada anualmente por la plataforma desde 2017 con el objetivo de celebrar a lo mejor de la industria del anime y realizar un esfuerzo por unir a la comunidad.
Este año, El gran farsante, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! y Jujutsu Kaisen fueron las series predilectas del jurado con un total de 10 nominaciones cada una. Appare-Ranman!, Dorohedoro y Beastars -que tuvo su estreno internacional hasta 2020- completan la terna a Anime del año. Un total de 35 series recibieron al menos una nominación en alguna de las 18 categorías.
Los nominados para la quinta edición de los Anime Awards fueron elegidos por más de 50 expertos procedentes de decenas de países, quienes fueron seleccionados por el equipo internacional de Crunchyroll. Al igual que hace un año, los fans también podrán elegir por sus favoritos a través del sitio web theanimeawards.com. Todos los usuarios que voten en cada categoría recibirán un regalo digital directamente en su correo electrónico.
Pudrás votar una vez al día en todas las categorías desde el 15 de enero y hasta el próximo 22 de enero. La decisión de los jueces tendrá un peso del 70%, mientras que el voto de los fans tendrá un valor del 30%. En caso de empate, el favorito de los jueces será elegido como ganador.
Los ganadores previos del galardón a Anime del año han sido: Yuri!!! on Ice (2017), Made in Abyss (2018), Devilman Crybaby (2019) y Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (2020).
